Service Above Self, in Durbanville.
Building international relationships, improving lives and creating a better world.
Who we are
The Rotary Club of Durbanville is a club of neighbours, professionals and retirees who give their time and skills to serve our community and the wider world. We are part of Rotary International — a global network of 1.4 million members — and a member club of Rotary District 9350.
Our vision is a world where people unite and take action in creating lasting change, across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. Everything we do runs on the same idea: Service Above Self.
What we focus on
Fighting disease
We support Rotary’s worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, and back health initiatives closer to home.
Promoting peace
We build understanding and lasting relationships between people, communities and countries.
Supporting education
We provide practical aid to farm schools and needy crèches in the Durbanville area, so more children get a fair start.
Come and visit
Rotary clubs meet regularly, and every club welcomes guests. If you would like to see what we do — or explore joining — get in touch and come along as our guest.
